The competition is confirmed at the arena of Follonica (Grosseto). Also this year the competition is dedicated to juniors categories with the adding of the Beginners categories (kata and kumite).
From this year we decided to open the competition to the master categories.

For edition 2019 we are going to reward with 2 different trophies.
The Italian Junior Cup will be assigned to first three clubs. The score will be assigned on the base of the single athlete who is competing for the club.
The 6 Nelson Mandela trophy will be given to the best region/nation who is collecting the higher score from its athletes.
The score is based on the summation of two specialities (kata and kumite) and it is calculated by the following table:
1° place --> 10 score
2° place --> 8 score
3° place --> 6 score
5° place --> 4 score
7° place --> 2 score
from 9° place --> 1 score
Palagolfo di Follonica
The structure has always been used for sport events, mainly handball, volleyball, basketball, hockey, rhythmic gymnastics and martial arts. Since the '90 the structure has been selected as the headquarter of the National academy of the Italian rhythmic gymnastics team.
Since 10 years the Palagolfo Arena has hosted the traditional Karate course and since 2015 the Tuscany Open.
